We will change out exhibits twice in one operating season. One exhibit will showcase Steampunk art; the other will focus on Blacks and railroad history. $2,000

Branch 15 wishes to add authentic background sounds and lighting to the machinery in the new Wolf Iron Works Museum line shaft shop. $2,000

Ceili of the Valley Society

Celebration highlighting music, crafts, dance and culture of the seven Celtic Nations (Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, Galicia and Isle of Man). $2,000

Children’s Educational Theatre (CET)

To expand the audience and meet the needs of our families, CET will hire ASL interpreters to sign all six CET productions at least once. $2,000

Children’s Theatre Foundation

One-day performing arts enrichment workshops for high school theater students and their teachers presented through partnerships with Oregon colleges, universities and professional theater organizations. $1,700

Forge X Northwest (Formerly DIY Studio)

Event promoting creative reuse and consumption alternatives featuring artist’s marketplace, upcycled art show, and trashion/fashion show, as well as educational exhibits and hands-on activities. $2,000

Huitzilopochtli Dancing and Teaching Our Indigenous Heritage

Huitzilopochtli will host its 7th year Aztec Dance Circle project where over 60 participants and thousands from Marion County will learn about Aztec traditions and art. $2,000

Keizer Homegrown Theatre

Trust funds will supplement accumulated savings to purchase sound equipment for theater performances throughout Keizer – 6 lavalier microphones and a sound mixing board. $2,000

Lord & Schryver Conservancy

To provide tools to enable volunteer gardeners to restore the historic gardens at Gaiety Hollow for public use and education. $1,500

Micronesian Islander Community

The project will enable us to reach our goal of celebrating and showcasing the Micronesian and Pacific Islander culture within the community. $1,500

Oregon Poetry Association

A series of three Poetry in Performance events at venues in the greater Salem area featuring Oregon poets who take their poems off the page. $1,000

Paradise of Samoa

To provide demonstration of, participation in, and appreciation for Pacific Islands’ dance and culture(s) through performance, youth and senior instruction and participation, and outreach development. $1,650

Pentacle Theatre

The Pentacle Theatre will enhance its 2016 production of “The Diary of Anne Frank” by hosting numerous educational opportunities during the play’s run. $2,000

Salem Art Association

The project will extend outreach to underserved elementary school students to provide art/history education through field trips/art activities in collaboration with principals and teachers. $2,000

Salem Multicultural Institute

2016 World Beat: Middle East and North Africa will come alive for Marion County youth with traditions, customs, activities, dance, music, games, storytelling, and food. $2,000

Santiam Canyon Youth and Families Alliance

Provide an enriching, confidence building forum for youth through the drama program offered by Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT). $1,500

Silver Fox Foundation

Purchase and install 7 bronze plaques for homes in Silverton that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. $1,000

The Moxie Initiative

The TEDxSalem Artist in Residence program engages a local artist to create a stage installation for our annual event. $500

Get America Singing – Marion County will empower teachers, students and Salem community to celebrate Americas rich vocal heritage with instruction and community-building vocal events. $2,000

The Verona Studio

The project “New Voices” will present the work of four exciting but relatively unknown contemporary playwrights to Marion County audiences. $1,500

Theatre 33 on the 45th

This project will help develop and produce for Salem and the surrounding community audiences a world premiere play by an Oregon author featuring Oregon themes. $1,000

Willamette Heritage Center

Willamette Heritage Center (WHC) will create two Traveling Trunks to be used by regional teachers to supplement their lessons in Mid-Willamette Valley history. $1,300

Confluence: Willamette Valley LGBT Chorus

Confluence’s non-auditioned LGBT chorus and formal performances provide opportunity for people of all walks of life to share live music celebrating diversity and community inclusion. $1,625
